Holiday Revelry at Waterfront Mactan
Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino Mactan ushers in the Christmas season with tons of cheerful festivities as it hosts “Holiday Revelry” on Wednesday, November 26. This wondrous night of celebrations will kick off at 6:30 with the unveiling and lighting of the Christmas tree by guests of honor Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Arturo Radaza, and the enchanting Mrs. Paz Radaza.
Conceptualized and designed by Elaine Cooper of The Centerpiece to complement the Hotel’s Baroque South Christmas theme, this beloved holiday symbol dons 100 cords of white rice lights, 100 silver picks, bead swags, 200 pieces of crystal drops, and 150 fist sized clear glass balls. Manufactured by Janice Minor Export Inc., the 18-foot structure was elegantly fabricated from handmade wrought iron and toned with antique silver finish in classic baroque style.
Reliving the wonder and magic of the baroque period, the Little Royals Costume Contest invites parents to dress up their tots as kings, queens, knights, jesters and fairies. Youngsters with the fanciest royal ensembles will win an overnight stay at the hotel with breakfast for two, sweet treats in a special Yuletide pack, and their own gingerbread house.
As the Christmas tree comes aglow in bright lights of silver and plum, guests will be serenaded by the musically gifted youngsters of the Marigondon Elementary School, and the beautifully soulful Voice of Cebu. With entertainment spanning from torch blowers and juggling stilt walkers, to an entire family of acrobats, this grand event promises nothing but delightful excitement for merry goers of all ages.
